Woke this morning to the news of the earthquake in L’Aquila, Italy. I’m having a hard time fighting back tears as I think of one of my favorite cities crumbling around its brave residents. I spent 6 months as the President of the L’Aquila branch in 1994 and I love those wonderful people and the ancient city they are so fiercely proud of. A tutti gli aquilini: che Dio sia con voi.
